I find it a bit meh, and I think most people do.
And also the other thing is sometimes people might think, well, I don't really know the process.
And the seller probably doesn't know the process as well as a real estate agent.
So this all just feels a bit hard.
Are they trying to hide something or is this just going to end poorly?
Another kind of factor is the buyer pool size.
So agents, they might have hundreds of active buyers right now in their database that they're kind of working with them within their office or within their organization.
Private seller doesn't.
They've got zero.
So I kind of think, okay, well, if I'm going to sell, I want to go to someone that might say,
I know someone that might buy this property and then go out to that buyer and show them that property for me.
And then the final thing is, if you're the owner, you're more emotionally invested, right?
So if I go through the property and I go, oh, it's all really nice, but this is a bit of a funny layout, isn't it?
And then all of a sudden, Tim, who's put that extra room there goes, well, what's wrong with that room?
Or what's wrong with the color of the room?
There's nothing wrong with that.
We've loved it forever.
And all of a sudden, it
It turns into this just weird negotiation, whereas agents will be like, yeah, yeah, no, I agree.
But you could fix it up with a bit of paint.
