Now, again, I don't think people should necessarily model off that same thing.

But it goes to show that it really does have to be a long-term view.

And anyone that can tell you that the market's going to go up or down next year, they're just guessing.

As much as I'd like to take credit for how much of an impact I've had, the reality is you have very little impact, right?

I might have moved the dial that $20,000 after putting $5,000 into it.

Now, that's great, but that isn't going to change your life.

So if you buy, I see lots of the renovation people online and they talk about, you know, buy this property, renovate it, add 50 grand worth of value.

That's awesome.

50 grand is a lot of money.

Yeah.

But most investors are doing this for millions of dollars at retirement, right?

Which might require four properties over the next 10 years.

Now, in terms of the timing, I get that part.

But everyone always says, OK, well, I'll wait for the market to start to recover and then I'll get into the market.

And then what happens if you go to do that?

But maybe you've had a change in circumstance.

Maybe you've gone self-employed and you can't get money from the bank.

Maybe you've had a kid and your income's changed.
