And I think we'd like made 20 grand on paper.

And I thought, this is easy.

Yeah.

Money for jam.

And then I put tenants in.

And because of the area of the property and because I was trying to get the maximum rent, it was a nightmare in terms of the people I had in there.

And so we had people sleeping in the garage.

I had to evict some people.

There were some drug dealers at one stage.

But I just kept doing it.

Yeah, so we wanted to hold on to as many as we could.

The only reason I started selling properties at that early part of my life is because I separated from that partner initially.

And we want to like get the cash back out at that stage.

Having said that, it was definitely, I went in there looking for a property I could afford rather than having any buying criteria.

And as a result, I ended up with an adequate investment property.

But the way that I'd assess a deal nowadays is very, very different.

Oh, 100%.

Yeah, yeah, 100%.

And the market.

And everyone thinks they're a genius when the market does all the heavy lifting for them.
