I think that Cory Booker has done an interesting job.
trying to really be the face of activism within the Democratic Party, which seems to – I don't know where the – when I was in college, activism – every day I woke up and there was a protest on campus, and that no longer seems to be the case.
But Cory Booker stays up for 25 hours and filibusters on the Senate floor, and I think a lot of people –
They might have made fun of him, and they might have thought he was peacocking, but at least he did something and tried to make waves and bring attention to the Trump administration's policies that he thought weren't right.
So I think that Mayor Pete, Cory Booker, even – I think the oligarchy tour with AOC and Bernie has been –
worthwhile tour on their part because i think that um they're not in brooklyn they're going to idaho and and bringing out crowds of tens of thousands of people correct that was crazy uh and what about coachella too now i don't i don't know if aoc was there but bernie was there and that created a moment um and it's so hard because we're all in our own little islands of media but that was seemed to be a moment that united a lot of um
a lot of those islands and it became part of monoculture.
So I think that those people and what unites them is that they, even Bernie Sanders, understand new media and how to create a moment.
And I think that the Democrats who are playing by the old rules are going to be left behind.

And by the way, defending due process and defending the Constitution, he's in this interesting position where do you defend someone who— Who's no angel, it seems.

At this point in the 2016 election cycle, just thinking about 2028, Donald Trump had not yet emerged as the candidate that Republicans would rally around.
I think it's way too early to say whether or not these moves are going to hurt her in 2028.
And news cycles just move so quickly now that we'll probably forget about it in a month.
