You're still in a hypnagogic state.

So I wake up and I consciously go into a state of gratitude that I exist.

It's not attached to I'm grateful that I have this, I'm grateful that I have that.

I'm just grateful that I exist.

And then I will get out of bed

And I'll stand and I'll do this.

I'm so grateful to be alive, awake, and aware.

And then I do this.

I surrender to life.

Sometimes I'll use the word God or love or peace.

And then I open myself up and I'll say, I'm available to the energy and the strength to handle anything that comes into my life today, my assignments for today.

Because I know I have assignments on my to-do list.

And then there are things that are going to come that I don't know they're going to come.

Somebody's going to call.

I'm going to have to respond to this.

So I ask and make myself available to the energy of that.

And because I've done it so long, I don't even think about it.

It's like I'm able to articulate it to you now because you asked me a question.

But I'm not really thinking about it.
