When you actually work for a network, you have a source and the story is that big.
I guess the rules are different for him than for others.
So what do you believe is the harm here?
Well, I believe that the harm is a senator refuses to level with the people that he serves about how he is doing.
And that is the most basic duty in any of these offices.
I will say this.
Some people say, well, if this was in the reverse, Mitch McConnell would be ruthless.
Well, you know what he would be knowing him my entire life?
He would be ruthlessly tactical.
And what we're seeing right now is a special election would probably go Republican.
We haven't had a Democratic U.S.
Senator in Kentucky since 1992.
So to those online that are thinking this through, what I'd say is right now with him not showing up to work, there's one less vote for the SAVE Act.
One less vote to support the president's war of choice on Iran.
There is one less vote for a potential replacement of a conservative Supreme Court justice.
And if there was a replacement via special election, they would probably be more beholden to Trump than even Mitch McConnell is.
you would think that the other Republican US senators would be pushing, would be pushing for transparency because they are one vote down.
I think they're percolating everywhere at this point because sadly, six weeks, two photos and two official statements just in this world where you do this.
