And a lot of us were unmarried.
We were a group of gals.
And on New Year's Eve, we would do things like get-together.
And...
burn a prosperity candle and shit like that.
It was very depressing.
And then I realized this friend group... Hold on a second.
No, no.
I would friend down because people who were successful intimidated me and I just thought,
they would reject me or I wouldn't have anything to talk about with them.
When I got engaged, they kind of rejected me.
And then I realized, oh, maybe you're not what you've achieved.
Oh, yeah.
It makes them different friends.
But I do feel like when you hang around people who are smart and successful, maybe they're above you.
that it's kind of inspiring.
