get asked to play in these certain competitions right like a representative team um and a lad got the job and they reached out to me and said would you be his assistant this is going 2017 2018 so i went down met with them we've been to the we've been to guernsey with them we've been to the isle of man played them and never really had much success but every two years they have a national cup

So I became the manager just before COVID and then obviously COVID happened so it kind of got shelved.

So then this 2026 Interleague National Cup started in January.

So I've kind of put a team together and we've won three games.

We got a buy the first round and we've won three games to get to the final.

So the 9th of May and we are playing Hertfordshire

county premier league representative team and um we've been drawn to play at leicester city's king power stadium so it's unreal like the boys are all buzzing we're buzzing so it's um yeah so it's like we're staying over two nights the cheshire league have have absolutely kind of gone above and beyond we're having a meal out on the friday night as a team then we're gonna kind of get a coach to the game

and then all the families are coming like my little lads footy team are going to be mascots so they're all going to have their orange kits on that they wear and then like every one of the lads is a lot most of them are older lads because of the nature of the team and you know from an experience point of view i've picked older lads who've been about and what have you

So, yeah, there's probably going to be a couple of thousand of ours coming and then I'm sure they'll bring a few down.

But, yeah, we've touched really lucky with the venue.

I don't know.

The tickets still haven't gone on sale yet, but they're talking about the tickets either just being a nominal fee or a fiver to get in the game.

I think we as the team and management will get so many tickets.

But I suspect when that all gets released, I think that's due to be released today or tomorrow, there will be some sort of live link or whatever.

But we've asked about taking a VO to film it and they've said you won't need to because Leicester City will use their club facilities to film it and then that's part of the hiring of the stadium.

But I don't know whether it'll be a live feed or a retrospective one for...

Right.

So if it was just the cup, I would probably... No, I'm probably lying.

I'd probably take the cup.

We won the league last year.
