You said earlier, can you imagine in going back to 2010 or 2000 and someone coming out and dropping files?
Can you imagine 15, 20, 30 years ago, a former intelligence officer coming out
live on the steps of the Capitol and saying, we are aware of a compendium of life from bipedal life to sentient plasmoids and the reaction that would have got.
Whereas now it's just, huh?
And it moves on to the next story.
I'll tell you just for your own knowledge, Richard, that first batch of UFO files in early May, I think it was the 8th of May, got quite a lot of UK coverage, quite a bit, across news platforms, broadsheets, radio, for a couple of days too.
The second batch, a little bit, but not too much.
The third batch and the Grush event, silence in the UK, like dead silence.
They might as well have not happened.
completely prevents a a really sophisticated honest discussion of it i don't really know why but they just you you can't speak and this is from personal experience i'm fortunate that people ask me to comment on news and tv and radio when these things happen and there's still this giggle factor that you see presenters like scoffing and smirking and laughing and now and again um it's
News channels in the UK are such a dying breed because the viewing figures are like, really, I get more downloads and views on this podcast than most news channels in the UK.
And that's not me blowing my own trumpet, Richard.
That's just that I know what some of them get, big channels.
And I was on GB News, which in the UK is, I think, again, politically more right than left.
It's very right-leaning in terms of its politics.
but they cover the ufo topic more than any other channel and actually some of the presenters are quite into the topic and that's from when i've been on air with them that one of the guys i can't remember the guy's name but one young guy particularly
actually during my interview it was himself and his female colleague and she was a little bit not derogatory but quite laughy about it and going come on really Andy you think UFOs and he turned around and was like no no seriously and he rhymed off all that stuff and he almost got to the point where he was defending it
But that's so few and far between where it still laughs and smirks.
And I know Lou Elizondo was on Jillian Michaels podcast recently, and people were like, oh, it was ontological shock.
