I don't think that once confirmation happens, it's all just going to go completely silent.

I highly, highly doubt that happens.

If Trump opened that can of worms, then immediately in November, there's a congressional election that has to take place.

Then you're going to have the 2028 presidential election.

There's no way that doesn't come up.

That becomes immediately a core issue for the next election.

Forever.

For whoever's the next president forever, that's going to be... What is our alien policy?

What is our NHI policy?

And even if it's not alien in the traditional sense that we might think of the term, this president or the next president, but some president soon is going to have to deal with a world that has some kind of superintelligence on it.

And we're going to see that anyway.

So it's like...

if we can at least acknowledge that this is real and we can get past the question of like, we, we may not address the issue of all the technology we have on, uh, standby and, and how advanced it is and what we know how to do and, and all of that.

But if we know, look, there are four other advanced civilizations.

We're in contact with two of them.

The other two, we don't have contact with, but the two that we do have contact with, one of them is neutral.

One of them, they kind of like us actually.

It's interesting.

Uh, I would, you know, that's wow.

If that's the only thing I learned for the rest of my life, I would at least be like, wow, we got that.
