I think we're there.

Yeah.

I've heard this rumor recently.

Well, I've been hearing it for a while, but I've heard it pick up steam recently.

That the cataclysm is what, that's the problem.

Let's say that you knew that there was going to be a world-ending cataclysm in 10 years or in X years from now.

If you tell people today, then for the next decade, it's chaos.

everybody's just going to lose their shit because they'll be counting down the days.

But if you let them live in ignorance until the end, then maybe for a few hours on the last day, it'll be chaos.

But then it'll all be over.

I've heard that.

And there's a part of me that's kind of, oh, I could see that.

If that were the real thing, if that were the news and they said that's indigestible, how do you digest that?

Yeah, this is the big problem, is we don't know what lies behind the door.

And if somebody like Bigelow does know, and he's the one that's calling them heroes, and I respect Bigelow, maybe it's worth listening to him.

This is why this board isn't so cut and dry.

It's why there isn't one side better than the other, because we don't know what lies behind either one of these paths that we might end up choosing.

Yeah.

So that's why it's such an interesting conversation.

But I'm still of the camp of, I believe we have a right to know, like, even if those fundamental truths are really painful, we deserve the right to know.
