The third person effect where everybody thinks that if the world was told something devastating, they would be fine, but everybody else wouldn't be able to handle it.
That's like a known phenomena.

It was something so unique and huge.
There were a lot of different ideas on how to handle it.
And some places handled it one way and other places handled it differently.
I think I don't think I love the pandemic.
I had a great time during it.
Well, there was one.
Yes, the pandemic really was awful and it showed a lot of horrible parts of humanity.
But just to play devil's advocate for that for a second, I don't know my neighbor's names still, even now.
But every Thursday during the pandemic, everyone in the UK would stand on their front porch and clap for the NHS.
