That's something that only something like the pandemic could have made us do.
Like I was staring at my neighbours from across the street and I still don't know their names now, but for those brief moments,
I think it lasted for two minutes every Thursday.
For those brief two minutes, I saw a lot of potential in the kind of community that we can foster in the face of pretty bad hardship at the time.
But at the same time, I had a great time during COVID as well.
I started working from home.
That was the moment I realized, yeah, I could.
Well, loads of people didn't.
And it's just that one little glimpse that that's the kind of thing I want to foster.
It was like that in New York.
I remember standing outside in Manhattan and you could hear everybody clapping.
People in stores would be clapping.
People would be going out on their balconies clapping.
Whatever people were around.
And then there was also the horror of all of the early days where people were really dropping like flies.
But what it was was this moment where everybody got focused.
For the early first few days, everyone was focused on one thing.
And I think that opportunity, there's an opportunity there to do something huge.
And after 9-11 was a similar thing, right?
George Bush came and stood in the rubble of the World Trade Center and he picked up that megaphone and it was a picture perfect Steven Spielberg, kind of like a Michael Bay, whatever moment, you know, and he gives this speech and he's talking about how, you know, we're going to rally the country and they're going to hear from us.
