And across the road to the right hand side, about half a mile away, there was like, if you could imagine a ferris wheel, but at an angle, kind of 20, 30 degrees, spinning incredibly fast.
you couldn't if i said i could make out a shape i'd be lying but if you imagine a saucer at an angle but just lights going round like if it was a ferris wheel at a carnival everyone was dead because of the speed it was going you couldn't discern a shape you couldn't see the bottom of it it was so low to the ground so it wasn't like it was up in the sky it was really low down um
And we just watched it for a minute.
I remember my mum and my friend's mum saying how strange it looked.
And we just went home from there.
We lived like that way from it.
So you're kind of diagonal.
And yeah, mid 90s, no camera phones, no real internet to speak of at the time that people had commercially.
And you don't go home and phone the police.
You know, what do you do?
So that was it.
And always kind of stuck with me.
When you were putting the book together, one of the cases... Well, the first one that really jumps out at me is the Kingman case.
I find that one really interesting.
Xander did an episode on U-House not too long ago.
I was reviewing the Kingman case this morning.
And...
about the simulator and J-Rod and just the way that that all kind of ties together into some other things that I'm interested in.
Is there one that you have a favorite case out of this collection that just really jumps out at you?
um i've got my notes to my side because i forget what cases i put in really strangely that my favorite case isn't in the book which is phoenix lights um and i think i was leaving that to write about last because i was like i'll leave that one just to do later on or if i get enough cases i'll put that in a second book if i'm ever asked to write anything else not that anyone would um and uh
