So in answer to your question, um it is hard to translate them to from different contexts, um, but we haven't pretended that we're the experts in that.

As you said earlier, that sense that there are other books that that cover that and of course Doug Lamov and Tom, your series, or you know, those those routines and those sort of classroom sequences, um, are perhaps things that that there are there's some of that at uh places in the book, but perhaps that that is something that that we would improve.

And I think going back to what you were saying about early early teachers and where you would start.

Um I do think you would start with some of these some of these things and you would start with subject knowledge, of course, that's another area uh outside of the remit of this book.

But I do think and we've found that really um one of the advantages of tur turning it into principles is is that you can really focus in and hone sort of one area.

of of teaching.

And I think you when you do watch a new teacher and yes, once we've got past the routines and the behaviour management, the relationships,

Um you would you'd normally see some kind of

you know, area to develop.

You see strengths linked to those six principles, but you'd also see perhaps they're not so strong on questioning or they're moving very quickly on for some s from some sort of explanation into the students starting work.

So they're missing out that modelling phase.

It does really give you a really simple rubric to

um to support the way that you the kind of feedback that you give teachers or or how you you you you sort of focus them in in on one area of practice.

So I think that the answer really to the question is sort of partly.

I do think it is a good starting place.

A lot of a lot of people who've read the book and have really enjoyed it have been

new teachers, um, you know, on their in their training year or or ECTs, often on subject the subject ones as well they've found really useful.

Um it's a bit of a gateway drug into into teaching perhaps in some ways.
