You know, if anyone asks me what the two most important

Of the principles that

uh the challenge is number one and pr I suppose the practice side of things is number two really.

Without those two, the rest just fall apart.

Yeah, it's a belief in the future, isn't it, challenge?

It's this idea of it being a a long haul.

Um and that there there there is some endpoint, there's some destination.

Um and and and those exemplars of work uh are a really great example.

And we loved, didn't we, the Rom Berger work at the time.

Absolutely love that.

And that really influenced our um

our book more as m the ethic of ex excellence but as much as anything that idea that there is a destination in mind and we all watched the Austin butterfly remember that that video several times but um you know right really like the long haul in terms of the sort of this is the end point after after a few years and

You know, you've got to have teachers who are willing.

And I had a lesson today with some c rather hot and

uh bothered year tens who were struggling with a s evaluative writing question.

Um and it wasn't really going well and I sort of thought that lesson was dreadful.

But then I sort of

at home and this evening I thought, Well actually I reckon that lesson was really useful for them.

I didn't really enjoy it.

They didn't really joy it enjoy it.
