But I bet actually next time we come back to that kind of writing, they're much, much better at it.

So you do have to have teachers who are willing to be quite resilient as characters with the challenge model as well.

Because it isn't easy, is it, to be sort of expecting children to to rise above.

you know, their station in life, which is kind of what we're what we're hoping really, and for them to learn things that they never

expected or perhaps members of their family wouldn't expect them to learn.

So yeah, it's um it it it's hard, but I think um

Well I think actually um

The way that the school

uh thinks about our professional development and how those two things inc interconnect, the sort of the subject expertise and the and the routines.

Um I think it works really well.

Um there might be some more generic sort of teaching principles or prompts, as um Sean mentioned, that are kind of universal across the school.

But then I suppose the subject end of that, um, is our

Um our sort of CP C P D and development is around kind of what kind of questions you ask.

So we might okay, cold calling is one of the the mechanisms we use to deliver that in a way that

um ensures more more pupils are thinking and being held to account.

And you know, we could test their understanding.

But we're in in English in our uh professional development sessions, we're talking about okay, well what's a really good sequence for questioning to to sort of layer up the challenge to um to scaffold their thinking.
