I've had just nothing but good interactions with him and think that it still might be in Pitt's best interest to potentially bring him back because of this recruiting class that they are bringing in.

I mean, 24-7 sports has two Pitt recruits in the top 40 with Anthony Felici at 35 and Chase Foster at 37.

And Pitt also has another top 100 recruit where I'm guessing if you don't bring Capel back...

all three of those guys are gone.

Jermall Jones is the other at 93, but...

The thing about it is, too, with the money that you mentioned, Joe, if they're finding all this money to buy out Jeff Capel, why not wait a year bringing this recruiting class?

And if it fails again, then one, you have your answer.

The buyout for Capel is a lot less.

And then you wipe the slate clean and see who could take over the program.

But it's not in a good spot right now.
