We've tried to take some of that stuff away.
So there's been growth on both sides.
I think last year more growth came on the offensive side.
This year more growth has come on the defensive side.
Yeah, I mean, we got in this morning and started, you know, just, you know, rehashing Detroit and watching their game from last night, as well as starting to break down some of the previous games.
And we played them a few weeks ago.
You know, they are a very good, physical, strong team.
You know, again, a team that starts kind of from the inside out.
Three guys that they rotate in the interior that they'll try to feed the ball into the post.
A dynamic guard in Orlando Lovejoy, who was a first-team All-League player in the Horizon League this year.
A guy who can give you fits just getting into the paint, getting to the free throw line.
And then they've created two shooters, Tyler Spratt and TJ Nadeau, who just really kind of counterbalance that interior attack and that driving attack.
But they do a really good job positioning defensively.
They'll switch a bunch of things.
They'll use a lot of size and physicality on their defense.
And so in both games, in the first half, they did a really good job of kind of neutralizing our offensive attack.
In the second half, we were able to find some cracks and some opportunities to create advantage, put them in rotation, and find clean shots.
So we've got to do a better job, I think, from the start this time around of finding some of those clean looks and executing offense against a really well-positioned coaching team.
I've said it a handful of times here in the last week.
Last year's group was just an intensely competitive team.
