And he was able to tap into that as all autocrats do.

So he scapegoated the Latino immigrants.

Meanwhile, all of the people that are voting for these policies have no problem exploiting said immigrant labor.

But it was never, ever about immigrants coming for your job.

And it was always going to be about the oligarchs and their AI.
