They are just doing... It is now so very seamless.
Is that fair?
Well, fair, you know.
When you think of... You know, cinema has always been a little bit the art of deception and the art of seamless deception.
And I think it's also about audience expectations and meeting those where they are.
And so...
I guess all, you know, fair is fair is fair.
I mean, I just remember, you know, the days of Forrest Gump and the days of even the Irishman, you know, when they de-aged Robert De Niro and, you know, Joe Pesci, and that was kind of weird.
And people were, some people accepted it and some people didn't.
Now we're beyond that.
It just is.
Now, I haven't seen the new Indiana Jones, and so we'll see.
You know, I mean, I want to give everything the benefit of the doubt.
I'm a little bit... I really am a little bit exhausted by these... God, this constant barrage of reboots and retools and prequels and, like, let's just take one more bite of that apple.
You know, it's like maybe...
maybe there's a grace to being able to say goodbye, you know?
