So when I am a fiction writer, and I am first and foremost a fiction writer.
To be a fiction writer is to be God.
You have to make the people, the trees, the leaves.
You decide when the day starts, when the day stops, who lives, who dies, who falls in love, who goes on the hero's journey, all of it.
And it's a massive undertaking.
When I write nonfiction.
I don't go looking for nonfiction.
Nonfiction finds me.
