Phone rings, rings, rings.
Normally I don't just pick up the phone without checking caller ID, but it was my birthday and I picked up the phone.
And it was a guy whose grandmother had bought a night table.
In a antique mall.
And it turns out that this night table had been my night table in high school.
And a bunch of my papers from high school had fallen down the back of the drawers.
Poems, photographs of my friends, notes, and an award.
This is why the guy tracked me down.
