Um, you told the Kansas City Star in December you don't love politics or politicians. matched

Why did you want to become one? matched

You grew up in Kansas City, Kansas, as you said, and and attended the University of Southern California on a scholarship and then returned home in twenty twenty three. matched

And you've been traveling across the state recently for your campaign and I'm curious what have you heard from voters near home and beyond? matched

What are they concerned about and how do you want to address those concerns? matched

And you were you were talking a little bit about you about your opponent, the incumbent in the race, uh, Senator Roger Marshall. matched

Your campaign has classified him as a quote unquote vulnerable incumbent. matched

And and how are you using that to inform your approach in running for the US Senate? matched

And your campaign is one of several who are running against Marshall. matched

It's a it's a very crowded democratic field ahead of the primary. matched

You've got a a Biden era Department of Agri Agriculture administrator, um, a former businesswoman, an immigration attorney, an activist and a current state senator, and maybe another who might who might run as well. matched

So how do you separate yourself from your fellow candidates? matched

And does the sheer volume of candidates concern you in terms of having a valid chance of a Democrat getting into getting into the Senate seat? matched

to interrupt you, you're referring to the the past or the Methodist pastor pastor Adam Hamilton who's expressed some interest in maybe running as an independent, is that right? matched
