But to try and explain it, yeah.
And what you're describing is, and it always comes down to these bare bones of relationship, effective communication.
When we have that, and you don't have to know the answers.
You don't know how, you don't have to know all the jargon.
Nobody asks to feel as they feel.
So just saying how you feel, even if it's clunky, it doesn't make sense.
But initiating that conversation is so important and something that was absolutely lacking in your previous relationship.
And often this is how we can turn that pain into something positive because I can hear that you've learned from that relationship now what's so important.
to keep you in and to keep you bounded and respected and the trust and the transparency.
And you have met someone that is coming to the table with you.
So there is complete connectivity and parity between you both.
Jay, what would you say that you have learned from your experience and your involvement in an affair?
So well said.
And actually, when you started this podcast episode and you wanted to give that perspective of somebody in a queer relationship and how it's no different to a heteronormative perspective.
the stigma, the stereotype, the promiscuity, all of that.
I think there is nobody out there that could have better described in such a powerfully emotive way that I hope if anyone is listening to this and perhaps did carry any of those judgments will now have really taken from your story and
that has shattered all of that because we can all hit there's there I there's nothing about gender in this um this is human behavior human respect and everything that you went through and so deeply deeply powerful so thank you for giving us that voice and my final question is there anything that you would have done differently
and that my friend tells me that someone who has very much gone through the process and come out the other side and my goodness I couldn't be more happy for you Jay thank you for sharing your story
