Oh yes, definitely it can be.
Definitely.
I know um quite a lot of people who have maintained really good close I have myself, really good close intimate relationships.
Um as in uh good close intimate friendships with people once it's moved past the sexual and romantic stage.
Does it take when you say once it's moved past, I mean does that take a while?
It depends on the th the nature of the relationship.
Um, I think in monogamy uh there's a f quite often an expectation that, you know
once it ends it's all over.
Um it can be uh quite a h uh an expectation of a hard and fast ending.
Um but of course in non monogamy um it's a lot easier for people to allow a relationship to transition from one state into another state.
um uh much more comfortably.
And
what we experience is that with each each person is unique and the relationship that I have with any individual person is unique and there are things about every one of those, including the ones that were, you know, bad break up type stories.
Um, there are still things that were valuable in in and unique to each relationship.
So um it can be really valuable if you are able to
Um and it's appropriate to maintain a friendship.
Certainly possible.
