You know, I think that's going to depend entirely on, or at least to a great extent of what happens with Larkin.
Now, you know, with Eisenman gone, I wouldn't rule out a chance that they patch things up with Larkin now and that he comes back because that was Larkin's main issue was he couldn't get along with Eisenman.
So if Larkin comes back,
And they make up.
You know, they made a couple of moves in the offseason.
They got Victor Arbertson to improve their five-on-five scoring.
They got Keegan Colasar to provide some much-needed toughness.
They will lose Patrick Kane, it looks like, so that's a blow to their offense.
You know, I think they're probably, with Larkin back, they're probably about at the same level they were last year, and that's not good enough to make the playoffs.
The problem is that a lot of the teams in their divisions
have improved in the offseason.
You know, Florida is going to be back after an injury-riddled season.
And so right now, even with Larkin, they're not a playoff team.
But without him, and if they were to trade him only for futures and go into another rebuild, they would be among the worst, could possibly be among the worst five teams in the league.
Well, we believe that they're sticking with him.
I guess the ultimate decision will be when they bring in a new general manager, what he decides.
But I would expect at this point there's not going to be a coaching change.
That would be very surprising.
I don't think McCollum has been the problem.
The lack of talent has been the problem.
