He's only gotten a year and a half on the job here.

Uh, and the wings problems mainly stem from collapsing late in the season.

They've had terrible marches four years in a row.

So that dates back pre McClellan, uh, for whatever reason, they just fold late in the season and,

And, you know, even if for some reason the new GM wanted to bring in his own guy or change coaches, it's a very difficult thing to do here late in the offseason when there's not as many options.

But, yeah, I would fully expect McClellan to remain as head coach.

I think the problem nowadays with free agency, it's just such a thin market with everybody signing their own players to long-term deals.

I think they filled, like I said, a couple of important needs

getting the five-on-five scoring with Arvidsson and getting harder to play against with Colasar.

But that's certainly not good enough to get them over the top and end that 10-year playoff drought.

And, you know, they've still got...

A couple more pieces of business here.

We signed restricted free agent Simon Edmondson.

I don't think that's not going to be a problem.

There's been rumors of a team possibly signing to an offer sheet.

Even if that happens, the wins will match whatever offer sheet he were to get.

uh eventually uh they've got to resign the brinkett that he's entering the last year of his contract uh it'll be interesting to see what happens with him now if larkin doesn't come back uh if they trade lark and then you know uh they might and and go into a rebuild i could see them uh then not wanting to resign and they'll they'll have to uh move him by the deadline um but uh

There's still a lot of uncertainty here, and much of it hinges on what happens with Larkin.
