Um and he's also a guy that you know can play on the line of scrimmage off the ball and on third down have rush value.
And like I said last year there's guys who are kind of three down guys and to me that's his three down value.
Uh as a third down rusher, he can bring something, knows the pass rush games and has has done a good job with that where he's been.
So that's what was exciting about him for us.
Yeah, I'm I'm glad you asked that because um
You know, McLeod and Gardak, those are guys who basically played on the line of scrimmage.
You know, if you look at McLeod's career uh in college, that's what he was.
To me it's really hard to do what those two guys have done.
Dennis was very similar, you know, in Arizona, uh predominantly, you know, in a end type of role, edge role, and has trained himself to be an off the ball guy.
So both of those guys have done a great job and they're really Dennis has done a great job.
Um, I think
working with Jalen, you know, Jalen stayed around them and they did a great job this summer and Jalen knows the system, so he's been able to
play off the ball and play pretty well.
He had a good day yesterday.
And again, he still gives you third down rush value.
So both of those guys are very similar in that regard.
You know what I mean?
And some guys have that third down value of they're a really good cover guys, so they stay in the game at linebacker on third down.
So they give us a little bit of variety and give us a chance to do different things with them in the game.
Yesir is very, very similar.
