You know, early on in the season what you're training and you're hoping you're you're getting across in training camp is
Eyes, right?
Eyes control the function of your body.
So when your eyes are good and it's an eyes game um and your eyes are disciplined, your feet are gonna be right, your hands are gonna be right.
And we talk about the progression every play being eyes, feet, hands, violent finish.
Um your eyes are always gonna send a message to your brain to tell your feet what to do.
Your hands gotta buy you time and it's up to you to violently finish, you know, in the right manner.
I think, you know, even in the post practice the guys try and do that every day.
Uh we call it relaxing your eyes, right?
And people say you see a little, you see a lot.
Yeah, the reality is I think when you relax your vision, um, you have a little bit more panoramic vision and and especially against some of these teams that are really creative in the run game.
You know, I think Coach Munkins done an unbelievable job of that in his career.
You know, guys like Kyle Shanahan, um, you know, they've really changed the run game in this league.
League, making things happen fast with pre-snap motion, post-snap movement.
Uh you really have to be have a keen eye and a trained eye to be good that way against these systems.
Yeah, I just think I think he's an elite athlete and an elite quarterback, you know, over his time in this league and throughout college football.
Um it's fortunate enough or unfortunate enough to coach against him in college.
Um he was a great player then.
I think he's taken a lot of those skills to this league.
Um and I think, you know, he's gonna put the ball uh in the right place, throw the ball to the right guy, and we have to be on point 'cause again it's a veteran quarterback that knows what he's doing and can hurt you with his arm and his legs.
