Woodside is going to invest where it can make money.
It's going to look at new energy projects the same as it looks at oil or gas.
It's going to allocate capital based on the financial returns.
It's not going to try and lead customers to new energy projects anymore, to the new energy.
It's not going to try and follow governments who promise things like being harder on these fossil fuels and
Encouraging people to use the lower carbon.
It's it doesn't want any of that anymore.
It says, you know, we're just gonna do what we do.
Invest in this, if you want to, don't if you don't.
And it's it's just a huge sign of how the market has changed.
Both the investor markets, governments, business has changed, following Ukraine, following Iran, this attention that's put on energy security over and above carbon really shows it.

Where this could get really spicy is they're supposed to put this climate vote to shareholders again early next year.
Yeah.
Yeah.
And I reckon there's a chance they just scrap that vote and they just say, Look, the whole thing's a distraction.
