But cash definitely makes sense for us as individuals.
I love cash, right?
I want to have a private means of paying for things.
And guess what?
The government loves cash too.
When I want to do things off the book and pay that person they shouldn't be paying, they're fucking using stacks of cash, right?
And so I think that under the average person in the government now has a desire to have a private means of money.
The banks, they don't want privacy.
This is not their business model.
Pick the next L2, whatever the fuck it's supposed to do.
Like, I'm bearish on that.
I mean, obviously, I was bearish on Monad, where it launched, and I haven't looked at the price since I was getting a little spat with Kiona.
I'm sure it's down 99%, whatever the fuck it is.
Like, there's just so many projects that...
that we see, especially at Maelstrom, because we're on the venture side, they just have no clients, have their product market fit.
And literally, it's just how did you game the pre-C, the C, you raise from this VC to that VC, and the whole game.
And it worked for a while when it was novel and new.
But after the last cycle, we've seen basically most of these tokens are down 90-something percent.
And they can be very good projects, but the capital formation was flawed.
We need to get back to basics.
