Yeah, you had to get there at probably 11 a.m.

I had to, if I didn't get to the field before he got there, like my locker was like thrown to shit.

He's the old panther in the freezer.

And so then I go shift into Joe.

And I'm like, man, I hated getting there early and just sitting in my locker, just fiddling.

I got nothing to do for three hours.

So I'd get there, just get going.

I love that.

What's the story you guys, looking back, and we'll talk through all the cool contributions, but when you tell your friends stories about that team or their ass or your favorite memory or moment or game, what comes to mind?

Yeah, nah, I go with the humble approach.

I'm like, man, I was just a part of a really special group of people, and I was just happy to be there.

And they're like, oh, come on, you know?

Like, so I just kind of take that approach.

You take that approach.

You talk about road trips or bus trips or stories?

Yeah, carefully.

Yeah, carefully.

All the stuff that happened outside of the field, like clubhouse, bus, trips, you know,

Pre-game rituals, speeches, like that's the stuff that as a player is what separated, I think, us.

Because I've never been on another team that did that.
