As a foreigner you appreciate a lot of things with the Japanese craftsmanship and the Japanese society that
maybe Japanese people or if you're born and raised here, that's just in front of you and Atari Mai in a way.
But as a foreigner you can kind of bring out those beauty spots and make it and bring it into the future in a way.
It was the first house the the previous house that kind of went went viral, that was in we finished that house in 2023, Sanganjaya House.
And I documented that process on my Japanese speaking YouTube channel at the time.
So there were no content available in English.
It was finished.
We started listing it on Airbnb and my friend from New York, Caleb Simpson, the guy, Hey, how much do you pay for rent in New York?
He came by, he toured it, and at the same time, maybe a month before I opened up Anton in Japan, which was the English speaking YouTube channel, about the process, kind of telling it in telling my story in retrospective.
And
Two or three weeks later, after starting that channel, we had hundreds of thousands of followers on YouTube and all the channels.
So and after that I wrote the book, Free Houses in Japan.
uh looking for the next kind of renovation project.
And Nakano House became that project.
And it was the first house that I could document on Antonin Japan in English from the beginning till the end.
