But within that, you have to look at the opponent, how they set up and basically go off that to kind of mark how we're going to succeed and

The next couple of days are going to be a lot of focus on the tactical ideas of how we're going to break them down or how we're going to nullify what they're good at.

But yeah, the focus is definitely on us.

I wouldn't say I'm surprised, no.

I think, you know, the whole team, like you said, is really close.

A lot of us have been playing together for years now, which is nice.

And the gaffer Pochi's had, you know, around about two years of trying to develop his team and instill his ideas into the group.

And, you know, this summer it's been long.

We've played a lot of good opponents, but we've had a lot of time together to gel and

make sure that we all know what positions to be in where we should be what's expected of us on the pitch it's just been going really well I think after the two friendlies against Senegal and Germany even though we didn't win the Germany game we were feeling really positive about how we performed and

how we can play against difficult opponents.

And then that translated into the Paraguay game that we were just full of confidence and flying.

So it's a credit to Poch and the coach and stuff and all the boys for all the attention they put in and all the hard work that's been leading up to this.

It's been huge, I mean, especially since historically a lot of the games we play, some of the more intense games like against Mexico, for example, whether that's Gold Cup or Nations League, it's more of a time a Mexican dominant crowd in those sort of situations.

And I feel like this time around the atmosphere in the first three games of the tournament has been...

unbelievable it's been some of the most enjoyable games i've ever played in in my career never mind just for the states well you can really feel the boost of energy and the support and the whole nation behind us and it you know it means a lot and it gives us you know that little extra boost or something to fight for if i um if you had to pinpoint if i said mauricio pochettino what is his strength as a coach what is he stylistically how would you describe him

I think it's sort of like passion and intensity is what translates to the boys.

I mean, we all respect him and we're excited by his appointment because he's managed some very good teams.

He's gotten the most out of a lot of teams he's managed as well.

And then when he's come to us to complete a different scenario with international football and he wanted to kind of change the culture of the team, which I feel like he's done and it's been an incredible experience.
