I think national camp is like end of August or so.
Like for me personally, I don't really get much time off.
I don't like taking time off.
I'd say that's probably fairly evident by this stage.
But yeah, like I have to do a bit of rehab, try to get my body right.
Like hopefully for me, it's going to be a really long year between...
a WXV a Prem a Six Nations and then fingers crossed at the bookend of a line store so um look at like I think if I can get my body right now then hopefully that stands for a really long season but um yeah so a bit of bit of rehab big pre-season and then back into a WXV hopefully end of August or so um but yeah I know the girls are playing in the Interpro so I'm I'm uh eagerly hoping to watch some of that so yeah hopefully Leinster do well in that too
Yeah, look, it's mad, isn't it?
I was speaking to someone earlier and I was like, as a kid, you dream of a lot of different things and I think six-year-old Aoife was an incredibly ambitious child and had a lot of big dreams and I've not ticked off, I'd say, half of them.
So I think the likes of Aviva game and you tick that off, you tick off the likes of the Black Ferns and then hopefully then at the end of the year I get to tick off another child or dream of playing for the Lions and
I think they've done incredibly well in terms of like they really take players feedback in as well.
Like I went to an event, I'm going to say maybe even two years ago, and it was it was a Lions event.
And there was people from every nation, young, like younger players who haven't broken into squad yet, more senior players who are kind of nearly stalwarts of their nation and stuff.
They ran it for a couple of years and they were literally just getting feedback on all sorts of different aspects of Alliance Tour, whether it was, do you want your family staying nearby?
Do you want a pool in the hotel?
Who do you want to play in the next tour?
They were just really valuing the players' voices.
And then I suppose as soon as Joe Yap got announced as head coach, it was nearly like, wow, it is only, what, like 18 months away.
So yeah.
it is a bit mad like even I suppose like she she's in and around the English environment and that kind of thing and she was in Queens there a few weeks ago and I met her then at the at the PWR and Prem Awards last night and like it was it was just pretty cool to be like god like hopefully I get to work under her someday because like one I've heard she's a phenomenal person and a phenomenal coach but two then you'd get to wear a red jersey so yeah no hopefully hopefully that's I suppose down the track a little bit for me and yeah I just have to keep working hard now for the minute
