But when it comes to Kate Townsend, great feel for his secondaries.

But to me, he was he's one of the best pitchers in the draft.

And I thought was a great get for them in the first round.

You know, it's this incredibly difficult, inexact science that I know teams have even more information than anybody, and they all have their own theories and approaches to this thing.

But it all kind of goes back to.

It's risky across the board.

I mean, we just saw the Rangers take a kid in the third round that's already out of high school that is already dealing with potentially his second major elbow injury in Brody Bumilla.

So you just feel like you never know.

They'll be perfect mechanics, high school kid, not a lot of miles, pitch counts perfect, whatever.

just can't stockpile innings in professional baseball.

And you have the guy that everybody expected to get hurt and not be able to make it happen, and he ends up throwing more innings than you thought.

I think the biggest precursors and the biggest things that they're going to look at is the delivery and just injury history.

And for the guys overall that they approached here, I think there was a little bit of maybe those guys that are higher risk

I think they're planning on maybe seeing some of those guys as relievers.

Like a Carson Yasa could probably end up being a reliever.

A lot less risk there.

But when I look at a guy like Cade Townsend, seems like a really well-rounded arsenal, clean delivery, and the kind of guy that you're kind of looking for to hopefully just jump into the middle of a rotation as you continue to develop him.

But at the end of the day, you need pitchers.

And the more that you can stockpile, I think the better.

And when it comes to the high school guys...
