There's also a level of risk to these kids are throwing so hard at such a young age.

It puts a different level of pressure on your arm as well before that UCL is fully developed, which they say may not really be until your mid 20s.

Some of these college charms kind of built up to that velocity and reach that mid 90s plateau or wherever they're at now, you know, a little bit more mature in their bodies progression.

So it goes all different directions.

I think with the White Sox, that's the fun part, is the rock Chilowskis of the world, right?

And I know that's the obvious answer, but the top guys in the class, even to your point, a handful of years ago, you're still not seeing them for a while.

Now these college bats, because the college arms are so good, they're seeing 95-plus all the time in the Power 4 play.

They're able to move through the minor leagues a lot more quickly.

I think Rock Cholowski could be a guy that's up in the second half of next year, and it wouldn't be very surprising.

The funny thing with the way that I think they generally approach it, though, the White Sox, is knowing that and knowing that they have their kind of headliner of the draft, they went high school the rest of the way with a lot of their other guys, and I would say guys that aren't as –

quick movers through the minors going with the upside there.

But Joey Volchko, a right-hander out of Georgia, is a guy that I could see the White Sox moving a little bit more quickly if he's throwing the ball the way that he's capable of.

That was a guy that we had kind of expected to be around in the second-round grade, and he ended up going third-round to them at 77.

I could see Volchko moving a little bit more quickly, especially if they want to fast-track him in more of a relief capacity.

But I think they're excited about what he can develop into there.

And on the Cubs' side, that's where it's really fascinating because –

Usually they go for hitters with a little bit more of a balance.

The hitters that they did take in this draft are huge power, pretty significant with concern.

I love where they got Caden Sorrell, their second round pick, because with the power and athleticism that he brings to the table as a left-handed hitter, that was a guy that we thought could go late first, early second.

They get him with the 62nd overall pick.
