And obviously he's given them a ton of homers and been great for them.
So it was a great move by the White Sox.
But you don't really see them operating like that.
And here they are, like, leading the AL Central where nobody operates like that.
Yeah.
some low payroll team had to lead the central, whether it was going to be the Guardians or the White Sox or the Tigers or what have you.
There's your competitive balances.
It could be.
It depends on who you're trading with and how they're viewing it.
I think from what I've heard, most front offices are just like, we're just thinking about what we know.
Because the way they handle uncertainty and risk, if they can't
If they don't know something, they're like, all right, I'm not going to think about that.
I know what, because who knows what the system could end up looking like, right?
Like you don't want to make a bunch of moves that are predicated on expecting a system to look a certain way.
You don't know how those negotiations are going to go.
You don't know where things are going to end up.
They just deal with, like... And you don't really have a seat at the table, right?
And no matter, like, what it ends up being, teams like the Blue Jays, the Dodgers, the Mets, they're always going to have the power of working around...
