Well, and then you loop in, like, Kevin Gosman, and all of a sudden, like, all the workload and innings and bulk catching up to him, right?

Being in his mid-30s and having thrown more than anyone over the last four, five, six seasons.

So, like, a Jose Barrios injury coming out of the, not out of the blue, but, like, the workload catching up to him.

Turns out he is made of flesh and blood and bone just like everyone else.

There's nothing you can do about that.

I mean, Trey Savage, bit of a, I don't know if you want to call it a sophomore slump, but, like, sophomore inconsistency, right?

Like, look, there wasn't a ton of track record with him, and he was tremendous last year in the playoffs, but if you were following him up the minor league ladder, like, there were these outings as he got to, like,

Dunedin in New Hampshire Vancouver Buffalo where it was like oh he walked like six or seven dudes in this start and didn't get out of the third inning like we saw that in the minors and he was able to self-correct just as we just saw him self-correct um here in the majors after it happened but like yeah Trey Savage not being the same force that he was last year that's that that uh impacts it as well

And it's been the core pieces, right?

Pinyongo was fine when he was up, right?

Like, in terms of what you were expecting from him, he was fine.

Ernie Clement, right, has been totally adequate.

Yeah, like Nathan Lucas is a great example, right?

So the pieces around the margins, like all that small ticky-tacky stuff that we usually focus on, that's all been fine.

That's all been well and good.

If the Blue Jays were getting the core production, they would have this lineup where it looks like the top of the Rays lineup, but then down the rest of the order, it's, oh, there's no gaps.

There's no holes in here.
