I think that anybody who was in uniform and MLB was like, yeah, of course this is another thing.

Yeah, Anthony Santander and Andres Jimenez are pretty tight guys.

So I would assume they text pretty regularly.

But I don't know that Anthony Santander has sent Tommy Nance too many text messages over the last couple of years.

So it's just one of those things that gets blown out of proportion.

Sometimes hurt players are around too much.

What's up with that?

And then that becomes a topic, right?

Why is he here?

Why is he always kicking around?

So there's no winning.

Either you're around too much or you're not around enough.

Ultimately, it's all ancillary from what matters.

And that's what's going on on the field with the 26 who were actually in uniform that night.

I don't think that you need to really reach for controversies like these when you have an owner who tweets as prolifically as Steve Cohen does.

When the Mets are going through it and he's writing things like, I'm seeing really good signs from Bo Bichette pulling the ball.

That's all you need.
