And also community health workers who are not medical professionals, but they are trained and they're more like case managers.

I mean, the logistics of health care is so stressful, especially right.

Like, I mean, you've probably dealt with it, trying to make an appointment.

trying to find time in your schedule, figuring out why you're being incorrectly billed.

It's even harder in rural areas.

So kind of like this case management, I think, can be really helpful.

So basically helping people find the care they need, but also the what we call social determinants of health, which is basically just how you're

social situation your financial situation impacts your ability to get health or maybe it's making you sick maybe you live in dangerous housing conditions that's making you sick right so these people can address some of those issues also really help you self-manage chronic conditions um

There's also some unique examples where I think there's questions about if it's going to be helpful, but they're more kind of like flashy and getting headlines.

So one is both North Dakota and Alaska have pitched using drones for health care.

So that would be like delivering medications that a rural hospital doesn't have access to or even delivering blood because not all rural hospitals have blood banks.

But that's like in a very experimental stage.

Like it's not even allowed by the FAA right now.

You have to have a special permit to do that.

So basically, they're saying we want to spend some of this money to continue testing this possibility, you know, testing something that maybe in the future can help.

Another one that my coworker reported on is ultrasound robots.

And this is something that Dr. Oz has publicly praised a lot.

So if there's a facility where they don't have an ultrasound tech, you can get this robot and then the workers there place these sensors on people's stomachs.

And then the arms or the sensors are remotely controlled by a sonographer.
