To start us off, what was the signal, the thing that you saw when you were building your original startup mode of software, which was just required by Better Up?

What was it that you saw when you were building that that made you certain that you had to focus on measuring ways in which LLM products fit?

That's probably gonna be music to the ears of the UXers that will be listening here.

I know for myself I was shocked I was working on a project with a global financial institute who was looking at, you know, what is the future of banking and what will that mean in a gen AI world.

And I remember being in these focus groups with people and

Just learning how optimistic people felt about finances and money when it came to AI because they were like, I can be more honest.

I can say anything that's true because they don't feel like they're gonna be judged and they don't feel like there's going to be repercussions for what they say to those.

Any other areas aside from mental models and how we're approaching the conversations that you found are more important than just model quality?

Okay.

So we have two more of your silent failures.

There's the drift.

So the conversation starts on target after several rounds of user instructions, the LLM is confused and answering the wrong question with the wrong information.

And then the death spiral.

So the user and AI are in a death match of confusing each other.

Have you found that there's anything that can help to elevate those people who are, you know, in that other ninety-seven percent of people?

like elevate those who aren't as attuned on how to push AI.

Have you found anything that's succeeded in that?
