And from there it was like, wow, that was uh that was my that was my calling.
I knew that uh you know that the the the understanding how people worked and why they were working and and from there I just you know went off onto uh trying to figure out and learn all kinds of things.
But uh ultimately the the end result of of or the the thing that really
Pushed me into where I am today was because at one point in my life I was uh reasonably successful because I was the managing director of this consulting company in Korea.
And all of the things that I did worked.
Unfortunately, that also, you know, added to the whole ego thing.
And I just basically thought, like, I am so awesome.
And uh that didn't really quite work out because, well, you know, I mean, I I was kind of an asshole.
And
And and and that didn't uh didn't go over very well in in many situations.
But uh so I thought, wow, you know, I'm so awesome.
I'm gonna take all, you know, some of my ideas and I'm gonna do them myself.
So I moved to Singapore and I, you know, took uh all of my money and I borrowed another half a million dollars and within a year and a half, not only was I broke, but I was a half a million dollars in debt, which which really sucked.
Do not try this at home.
And uh so I I I needed to get a job.
And so I got this job in this uh conglomerate as a department head in product development.
And I mean, you know, I thought, wow, okay, 'cause I am so awesome, I'm gonna be able to do all these really cool things and and and and help people and everything and and uh you know, and then people like notice where everybody's blaming everybody and you know, they're like, you know
saying, oh, you know, the finance departments like this and the marketing guys are, you know, and the salespeople are like this.
And of course, you know, everybody blames HR.
