Yeah.

I was a stupid kid.

So so here I am.

And um the teacher, though, this is a totally unexpected direction that that really shaped part of my life.

The teacher, Mr.

Bacchus, he had this like super shiny bald head and uh, you know, these thick glasses, and he always wore this brown corduroy coat.

I don't know if it was the same one or if he had like lots of them.

But uh he stood he he he said he asked

Me to come up after school, after the class, and uh he put a simple algebra problem on the board.

And he says, Arthur, can you tell me what this is?

And of course, I do what they tell you, right?

They I started to take a piece of chalk and show my work because they tell you to always do that.

He says, No, no, no, no, no.

Don't show your work.

Just just see if you can look at it and tell me what you think the answer is.

I say, okay, well, I think it's this.

He says, Well, that's right.

Okay.

So he put another simple algebra problem on there, and he says, Okay, what do you think the answer is?

And I said, It's this.
