Like you hear those stories and you're like, man, this industry used to be real crazy.

And now I think is where the real creativity is required because the big budgets are gone and it all comes down to, well, how do we make money?

truly creative radio that doesn't cost as much but is going to get people's attention when there are 52,000 million other options.

Like what else would you do to sleep?

No.

Yeah, that was my window back.

You know, that was my way to process everything and to honour it.

You know, all these years of my life that I'd given to this world that I didn't think at the time I would ever return to.

Like I thought I was – the radio chapter was closed and I was going to write a book and then, I don't know, like be a meditation teacher or move to Italy or be an author.

I thought I was done in radio.

You know, I didn't take mat leave.

I quit.

I was like, I don't want to be on maternity leave because I don't know what kind of mother I'm going to be.

I don't know what kind of child I'm going to have.

I don't know if I'm going to want to go back to work or not.

And I'm a real people pleaser.

And I didn't want to let people down.

And I didn't want the expectation.

I didn't want to.
