I I just thought I've got to help spread the word on this.
You know, there's got to be other people out there that are like me that are suffering and and need to know about it and need to know that it's real.
So I started volunteering at an organization here in Boulder that was an accelerator program focused on cannabis companies.
And I met the folks at Charlotte's Web.
They had just finished their first year of operations.
Dr.
Sanjay Gupta had just
done the CNN story on little Charlotte, which is for the listeners who aren't aware, she was a little girl who was having thousands of seizures per week.
Her mother was just a firecracker who would not accept that there was no solution for her little girl.
The doctors couldn't do anything for Charlotte.
They were basically just told her mother to take her home and keep her comfortable until she passed away.
her mother wouldn't accept that.
She went and found this product, you know, this plant derived compound called that now called Charlotte's Web.
And they she convinced the manufacturers of that to, you know, and she got went to the doctors and did everything, you know, by protocol and convinced everybody to let them try it on Charlotte.
She tried it and Charlotte went from thousands of seizures per week to, you know, maybe a dozen.
Which is still a lot, but you know, radical improvement in one's life quality and basically saved her life.
So th that had all been out, you know, come out in into the press through Dr.
Sanja Gupta and CNN.
And Charlotte's Webb was just getting ready to form a national product.
