Yep, into that. And so we are both, we're both just trying to figure it all out. And you're going back to work tomorrow, I am back at work. And now I'm just trying to figure out, like, how do I grow, like really grow leaders in the practice, so that this business can not just run without me, but be profitable.
without me and i think that was one thing that i really want to fine-tune because i mean we all talk about or we all hear about is your business able to run without you and while our doors remained open and while patients were still being seen
It is a very different story when the lead dentist, the owner dentist steps away. And so, yeah, now I feel like.
yeah yeah stay tuned stay tuned we are yeah we miss you guys we that's it i just miss you guys and thank you for all the prayers and yeah it just it really felt like we weren't in this alone and i can't tell you how much that has meant to us
To us and to Colin. And, yeah. All right. I think this was a short and sweet update from the Centurion Lounge in Phoenix. What have you and Colin been saying? Wham, bam, thank you, ma'am? I don't think we've ever said that. Pretty sure you have. That sounds exactly like something you would say. Yeah. All right, guys. Thanks for listening. Bye. Bye.
Hey guys, welcome to another episode of The Making of Smile & Co.
I'm your co-host, Ashley Hovez.
We chose Open Dental and the answer is pretty simple.
We started off with Open Dental in the Folsom office and with their clinics view, it allows us to see both the Roseville and the Folsom location in one consolidated setting.
I believe so.
I am not familiar with it though.
So don't ask me any questions.
When we first started the Roseville location, I actually looked into a cloud-based software and the learning curve was extremely steep and we didn't convert Folsom into the same cloud software.
So
We're like, you know, let's just go back to what was tried and true.
And we actually went back to Open Dental.
I think the pros are you can save a lot of money with the server because the servers, they're several thousand dollars and I feel like they need to get updated every five to 10 years.
I have no idea.
I think we spend way too much on computers in general, but the ability to always have a cloud backup is,
is really nice and being able to access, which actually may be a double-edged sword because sometimes you want people to disconnect from your practice when you're not actually in the practice.
