My second confession.

I'm a crier and I'm a huge budget nerd fan, but I'm not a super nerdy budgeter.

Come on.

Cash is my dad slipping me $20.

I'm almost 40 years old, and he will still slip me $20, and it does not.

YNAB doesn't know about that money, so there's no cash accounts.

I'm a nerd for the method.

I think I love, and I love to hear how people apply it in their lives.

So I guess we'll see what I can do with mine.

I'm also open to constructive criticism, so if you guys see stuff that I could change around in my own plan, I'm all for it.

Well, I have to tell you that...

I was trying to remember the last time I did a fresh start because we were doing the hot takes earlier.

And there's an older episode, if anybody has been listening or watching Budget Nerds for a while, where Nick True came on.

And in passing, he mentioned the values-based plan that he has.

And YNAB ended up turning that into a template that when you get home, if you want to keep the nerdiness going, you can go check out the templates.

And I took Nick's and kind of made it my own.
