Thank you for having me.
Absolutely.
So Rachel is a money and mindset coach and you typically work with like young new couples, right?
Like newlyweds or engaged couples, right?
Yeah, awesome.
And I wanted to talk to you today because I don't work with that demographic typically.
The women I work with are older, maybe their kids are that age where they're starting to get married and they're teaching their kids about finance, things like that.
So I thought it was really important to bring you on because even when I've spoken with
with couples, financial coaches and stuff in the past, it wasn't necessarily geared toward that the younger couple or maybe not even younger.
I mean, because older people get, you know, people my age are getting married for like the second time and maybe they want to not make the same mistakes that they made the first time when it comes to finances.
You know, finances are the statistic.
I actually looked it up yesterday is around 50%.
40 ish percent, uh, contributing to divorce or maybe the main reason, obviously there's probably a lot more moving parts to that, but it is a big stressor for couples.
And so starting with this conversation before you get married, when you still like each other is, is
so important.
So why don't you tell us a little bit about yourself before we get started?
And then we're going to dive into working together as a couple, like aligning your values together, because that's so important.
Even if you're not a younger couple and you haven't done this before with your spouse is still good information, but building that trust and that confidence around money
as a couple, because it is important.
Like if you want to reach these really big financial goals, it's so important to work together instead of against each other.
